When should you make your child’s first dentist appointment? We recommend booking your child for their first visit by 12 months of age, or within 6 months of the first tooth coming in — whichever comes first.

Dental issues inevitably pop up, and they can cause a lot of stress — especially for young ones. It’s important to encourage your family to maintain their oral health at home to avoid dental health problems like gum disease, tooth decay, and tooth loss.
