FAQ about dental implants
What is implant restoration?
Implant restoration is the final step of the dental implant process. After the implant post is placed and fully healed, we attach a custom crown or implant-supported denture to restore the look and function of your smile.
Do you place the dental implants?
We work closely with trusted local oral surgeons who place the implant. Once healing is complete, Dr. Jacobson creates and places your custom restoration to ensure a natural-looking, comfortable result.
What types of implant restorations do you offer?
We provide implant crowns for replacing one or a few missing teeth, as well as implant-supported dentures for restoring multiple teeth with added stability and comfort.
How long does the implant restoration process take?
The full process varies by patient and includes healing time after implant placement. Once your Grand Junction implant is ready, placing the restoration is typically straightforward and completed in one visit.
Will my implant restoration look natural?
Yes. Each restoration is custom-made to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth so your smile looks seamless and natural.
Am I a good candidate for implant restoration?
Most adults with missing teeth are candidates, but a comprehensive exam and x-rays are needed to determine the best treatment for you. We’ll walk you through your options and answer all your questions.
